Basic Linux course

The Basic Linux course is aimed for whoever wants to achieve a basic understanding on the GNU/Linux operative system. Therefore, no previous knowledge of this or any other operative system is required.

The course, whose duration is of 25h, has as its purpose giving a general overview of the history and structure of GNU/Linux, while teaching different commands and applications available, and finishing with basic security notions.

The syllabus for the course is:

2) Distributions.
3) Hardware.
4) Filesystems.
5) Communications.
6) Installation of GNU/Linux.
7) Desktop environments.
8) Commands.
9) GNU/Linux permissions.
10) Basic administration.
11) Program installation.
12) Basic security.
